A commentary at the Gateway Pundit explained: “While President Trump visited The Varsity restaurant in Rome, Georgia, stopping to connect with locals amid discussions on the economy, election integrity, and upcoming midterms, the unnamed patriot approached with his award in hand.”
The man asked, “That’s a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, but I don’t want Biden’s name on it. So can you help me out?”
“Yeah, You want me to cross it off?” the president said, grinning.
Trump also noted Biden’s signature was “an autopen,” but his was not.
Handing it back, Trump told the man, “Okay, now you have a real lifetime achievement award.”
Such awards often are tied to volunteer service or community contributions and during the Biden administration’s last days, were handed out to a number of people.
