Bohs Game: Match Night Arrangements

Match Night Arrangements

The sold out sign will be up again for the third week in a row, as City host Bohemians tonight in the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium.  With that in mind, a quick guide for those attending the game.

PREPARATIONS AND ARRIVAL

The Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium is in a residential area and we ask supporters to respect residents with regards parking and their time spent in the area.  To faciliate developments to the playing surface, the inner car park is no longer available and this has reduced parking.  As highlighted, alternative parking is available in Celtic Park – please see this article for more details

Supporters are encouraged to arrive early in order to facilitate smooth access to the ground.

TICKETING

Online tickets are sold out and no tickets will be available on the night.  Limited tickets may remain at outlets, but is lkikely the game will be completely sold out.

Physical Tickets / Card:  Please have these ready to present to gain access to the ground.  Before you arrive at the turnstile, please check the stand, block, row and seat that your ticket is for.

E-ticketing:  The majority of supporters now present e-tickets.  Please check out this guide which will show you how to access the tickets on your phone – either through your email or on your phone’s wallet.

Please note that the North Stand is unallocated and seats are on a first come, first served basis.  Southend Park Stand and Mark Farren Stands are designated seating, and the seat location will be outlined on your ticket.

If you are having any issues finding your seat, please ask a steward for support / direction to the correct area.

ACCESS FOR HOME SUPPORTERS

City supporters can access the stadium from a number of entry points.  The most obvious entry points are as follows.

  • Mark Farren Stand & Terrace
    • Lone Moor Road: Turnstiles on Lone Moor Road
    • Car Park:  Gate 19 – accessed at the top of the greyhound trac

North Stand and Southend Stand

  • Brandywell Road:  Turnstiles on Brandywell Road
  • Brandywell Avenue:  Turnstiles on Brandywell Avenue

There will be no change for supporters with mobility / access issues that have existing arrangements in place with the club

In line with the arrangements in 2025, home supporters are no longer able to access the stadium via Gate 9 (Inner Car Park).  This access will be for Club Staff, Guests, officials and AWAY supporters only.

Please review and plan your route for access based on these changes.  In particular, if you previously accessed the ground via Gate 9, you may need to allow extra time to reach your new access point.  With reduced parking in the vicinity, you also may have further to walk before the game.

INTERNAL ACCESS

There will also be  no access between the gates situated behind the Showgrounds goal – this will be in operation before kick off and and after the final whistle

Supporters sitting in the North Stand or Southend Stand who wish to access the Club Merchandise Store, will need to walk via the Lone Moor Road side of the ground.  The Merchandise Store also sells Derry City’s match programme, Cityview, and accepts cash or card payments.

Sellers for Cityview and Half-Time Draw tickets are situated around the ground and accept cash payments.

Food and Beverage venues will be unchanged under this new configuration.  Both RS Catering will be situated between the North Stand and the Southend Park Stand, Free Derry Coffee will be situated on the northern side of the Mark Farren Stand, the bar is on the upper floor of the Mark Farren Stand, RS Catering’s second outlet is situated on the southern side of the Mark Farren Stand, and both The Coffee Van and RS Catering are situated behind the Southend Park Stand at Gate 9 to facilitate our friends who have travelled to support Sligo Rovers.

Patrons of RS Catering and the bar should remember that these are cash-only outlets.

If you have any queries on where each gate is, we suggest watching this video.

ACCESS FOR AWAY SUPPORTERS

Away supporters will access the stadium via Gate 9, the inner car park.  This gate is for Club Staff, Guests, officials and AWAY supporters only.

This ensures that visiting supporters have a sterile segregated area in Blocks K,L,and M Southend Stand.

We thank supporters in advance for supporting our match night team in ensuring both the safety and enjoyment of those attending games at Brandywell stadium.
