Epstein’s Brother Tells Don Lemon Why He Believes Jeffrey Was Murdered
Mark Epstein appeared on ‘The Don Lemon Show’ in the wake of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest to talk about his brother’s death, which he personally believes was a homicide.
He does not appear on camera to avoid being recognized in public, but explained via telephone why the timeline of his brother’s court hearings and the possibility of receiving bail don’t aline, in his mind, with a rationale to commit suicide in custody. You can read his full explanation below:
After explaining his theory, Epstein had the following exchange with Lemon about whether he was “defending” his brother:
Lemon: So, uh look, folks are wondering that…they they feel that you’re defending your brother. I don’t think that you’re defending your brother. I think you’re trying to make sense of his death, but you’re not defending what he’s accused of. Correct?
Mark Epstein: No. Absolutely not. No. That’s not my job. I’m not his defense attorneys. I no, I wasn’t around. I wasn’t there. I… My opinion, on, you know, he was wrong. I’m not saying he was innocent. He was guilty of things. He plead guilty. He told me that he was in 2006, in the early days, he told me that he was stupid, because he was with girls that were too young. So I’m not trying… I’m not defending him at all. That’s not my job here. That’s not my purpose. I’m just concerned that my brother was killed in a federal prison under federal protection.
