Jharkhand Women's Commission Non-Functional: 4000+ Cases Pending, Justice Denied
Jharkhand's State Commission for Women has been non-functional for over five years, leaving thousands of cases of dowry harassment, domestic violence, and sexual abuse unaddressed. Similarly, the State Commission for Protection of Children has been vacant since November 2025, hindering efforts to combat rising child trafficking and missing persons cases.
