Debut Win for Widden Graduate Satirically
The 1400m three year-old maiden at Warwick Farm on Wednesday was the first race on the program and also produced a debut winner in Satirically, who is the first foal of multiple Group winning mare Paradee.
Foaled and raised at Widden Stud for his breeder Robert Anderson, Satirically was a good looking colt from day dot and fetched $800,000 when offered in the Widden Stud draft at Inglis easter where he was snapped up by Kia Ora / TFI / Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott / Kestrel Thoroughbreds.
Given a solid grounding at the trials, Satirically was given a positive ride by Nash Rawiller and led throughout, keeping up a good gallop to the post to win by more than a length.

Satirically is the first foal of Paradee, who was bought as a yearling back in 2018 at the Magic Millions by Robert Anderson for $240,000.
The daughter of Epaulette proved a classy customer winning six races and nearly $1million in prizemoney with a highlight victory in the Group II MRC Peter Young Stakes and a fourth in the Group I VRC Australian Cup.
Paradee has a yearling filly by Snitzel and produced a colt last spring by Zoustar before being covered by Broadsiding.
