Drake McDonald's Meal Not Alone: Dr. Dre & Snoop Just Dropped Applebee's Collab
Hip-hop had a big week in the fast-food world. Drake teamed up with McDonald's to launch his "Afters Meal" in Canada, complete with his OVO branding. At the same time, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg brought their Still G.I.N. cocktails to Applebee's locations across the United States.
Drake's McDonald's collaboration, available only north of the border, comes with your choice of a McDouble or Junior Chicken, plus fries and a blue "Nite Sprite" drink for $14.99. Meanwhile, Dre and Snoop's Applebee's partnership features two cocktails: the $7 Young, Wild & Free Fruit Punch and the $10 Rollin' On the Beach. Both are served with an interesting collectible add-on: original, unique temporary tattoos. Both collaborations launched Tuesday, February 17, making it quite the day for hip-hop fans who also happen to enjoy fast-casual dining.
Drake's $15 McDonald's 'Afters Meal' Launches in Canada With OVO Branding
Drake's McDonald's deal went live Tuesday morning, but there's a catch: it's only available in Canada through the McDonald's app. The "Afters Meal" features Drake's OVO owl logo and carries the tagline "Where Night Owls Land," clearly targeting the late-night crowd.
You've got two options: the McDouble Afters Meal or the Junior Chicken Afters Meal. Both come with fries and the option to add a mysterious blue drink called "Nite Sprite." The full meal costs $14.99 CAD (about $10.99 USD), while the Nite Sprite can be purchased separately for $4.99 CAD (about $3.65 USD). And if you're willing to shell out the extra cash, you'll get a sleek black OVO-branded cup. That makes this one of the pricier celebrity meals McDonald's has offered.
Promotional posters started popping up around Drake's hometown of Toronto earlier this month, sparking speculation about everything from the meal itself to potential new music. Producer Conductor Williams was heard recently saying that Drake's next album, "ICEMAN," is coming "soon, real soon," so the timing of this collaboration feels intentional.
Drake's McDonald's OVO Afters Meal Details:
- Only available at McDonald's locations in Canada.
- Choice of a McDouble cheeseburger or a Junior McChicken sandwich.
- Side of poutine
- Newly released blue Nite Sprite (additional cost)
The Afters Meal is part of McDonald's "Famous Orders" program, which has previously featured Travis Scott, BTS, Cardi B & Offset, and Mariah Carey. Unlike those deals, Drake's is limited to Canada for now, with no word on whether it'll expand to the United States.
Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg's 'Still G.I.N.' Cocktails Hit Applebee's With $7-$10 Drinks
While Drake's meal stays in Canada, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are taking a different approach, bringing their Still G.I.N. brand to Applebee's restaurants nationwide. The casual dining chain introduced two limited-time cocktails called "Still Together Sips." The $7 Young, Wild & Free Fruit Punch is Snoop's self-proclaimed favorite, mixing Still G.I.N. with grenadine, lemon sour and pineapple.
The $10 Rollin' On the Beach combines Still G.I.N. with peach schnapps, prickly pear, orange juice, and cranberry juice, and it's served tableside in a chilled shaker tin so you can pour multiple servings. Both drinks come with custom collectible temporary tattoo designs, which should make for some interesting social media posts.
Still G.I.N. By Dre and Snoop launched in October 2024 as the duo's second spirits venture, following their February 2024 debut of canned "Gin & Juice" ready-to-drink cocktails. The ultra-premium gin won a Master's Medal at the 2025 Gin Masters Awards and is distilled in the United States with notes of tangerine, jasmine and coriander.
Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's Still G.I.N. Applebee's Details:
- $7 Young, Wild & Free Fruit Punch
Includes grenadine, lemon sour and pineapple. - $10 Rollin' On The Beach
Includes peach schnapps, prickly pear, orange juice and cranberry juice. - Each drink features Still G.I.N. and comes with collectible temporary tattoos.
"For 20 years, I drank the same gin," Dr. Dre explained in a statement from Applebee's. "I challenged our team to beat that standard, to create something better than what I'd been loyal to for two decades. They delivered."
The Applebee's partnership puts the gin, which is distributed nationally by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits and available at major retailers, in front of millions of casual diners who might not typically spring for premium spirits. Applebee's CMO Michelle Chin said the collaboration is perfect for "toasting to friends who keep it real," with the temporary tattoos designed to make "every sip worth remembering."
Whether you're more interested in Drake's late-night McDonald's run or Dre and Snoop's Applebee's cocktails, hip-hop fans have plenty of options this week, though geography might play a role in which collaboration you can actually try.
