FDA Recalls Salmon in These States
The FDA has recalled salmon sold at big box store BJ's because the product may be contaminated with Listeria.
The recalled salmon was sold only in BJ’s Wholesale Club stores in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
This product was sold from Jan. 31, 202,5 through Feb. 7, 2026. It is packaged in 2-lb bags with the Wellsley Farms logo and Farm-Raised Atlantic Salmon. The UPC code (888670025963) and recalled lot number (3896) are on the back of the bag, below the cooking instructions and Nutrition Facts panel, according to the FDA’s announcement.
Listeria Poisoning Can Make You Feel Sick
The CDC lists the following symptoms of Listeria poisoning.
- Fever
- Diarrhea
- Headache
- Muscle aches
- Stiff neck
- Confusion
- Loss of balance
- Convulsions
