Green Tech rolls past Watervliet, improves to 17-2
Will Brown led the UAlbany men's basketball team to the NCAA tournament twice. In his lone year with the Saint Rose women, he led them to the tournament. In his lone season with the Albany Patroons, he led them to the TBL Championship Series. This year he took on another unique challenge, entering the high school game. Brown took over a Green Tech team that didn't return a player that had scored a point at the school at the varsity level. The Eagles dropped their first game to Catskill by 12. Since then, they've gone 16-1, beating that same Catskill team by 31 last week. Green Tech is now ranked 29th in the state in Class AAA. The Eagles kept flying high on Monday night, rolling past Watervliet 87-46. Green Tech jumped out of the gate, scoring 30 points in the first quarter. They never looked back.
