Fans React to Robert Duvall’s Bittersweet Last Video Before His Death at 95
Legendary actor Robert Duvall has sadly passed away at the age of 95 on Feb 15, 2026. The Oscar-winning actor, known for his starring roles in The Godfather and Apocalypse Now, was confirmed to have passed on by his loving wife Luciana. And now, many are looking at the heartwarming last video he uploaded before his death.
DuVall uploaded a video onto his Facebook honoring his 95th birthday. He shared the video with the caption reading, “Luciana surprised me with this wonderful birthday video in preparation for tomorrow’s big 95! Thank you all for the support all of these years.”
It was a truly touching video from his wife, we see a plethora of throwback photos from his childhood up until 2026, showing how he’s truly lived such a beautiful, wonderful life; and it has a bittersweet feel to it after his passing.
In a Facebook post, his wife Luciana shared details of his passing, saying, “Yesterday we said goodbye to my beloved husband, cherished friend, and one of the greatest actors of our time. Bob passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love and comfort.”
She added, “To the world, he was an Academy Award-winning actor, a director, a storyteller. To me, he was simply everything. His passion for his craft was matched only by his deep love for characters, a great meal, and holding court. For each of his many roles, Bob gave everything to his characters and to the truth of the human spirit they represented. In doing so, he leaves something lasting and unforgettable to us all. Thank you for the years of support you showed Bob and for giving us this time and privacy to celebrate the memories he leaves behind.”
Robert is survived by his wife of 20 years, Luciana Pedraza.
