Devotees celebrate Shivratri in city; cops ensure smooth traffic
As the auspicious night of Maha Shivratri unfolded, Guwahati reverberated with fervent devotion. The Bhimasankar Jyotirlinga temple became a sacred haven for over 10,000 devotees, while the rhythmic beats of a traditional Nagada dance filled the air at the Bhootnath Shiv Mandir. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, Nabagraha’s Niramuhia Shiv Mandir welcomed spiritual leaders to join the festivities.
