Recognition: Eric Lucan, of Novato, was named president of the Marin County Board of Supervisors for 2026.
Recognition: Pablo Feldman and Sophia Sabella, who grew up in Mill Valley, won best music video at the 2026 Grammy Awards for producing Doechii’s “Anxiety.”
Recognition: The Curtain Theatre in Mill Valley named Lindsey Abbott as its new managing director and Doyle Ott as its new artistic director. Abbott and Ott will be taking over duties from former artistic director Michele Delattre, who is stepping down after 15 years in the role.
Recognition: The Belvedere Tiburon Library, Tiburon Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Tiburon-Belvedere are honoring Dr. Angelo Capozzi, of Tiburon, for his humanitarian work at a sold-out event at the library on Wednesday. The event features a screening of “The Legendary Life of Dr. Angelo Capozzi,” a documentary from new production company Keepsake Studios. Capozzi, a retired plastic surgeon and the founder of Rotaplast International, retired from his medical practice last year at 92 years old. Over the years, he’s gone on medical missions to perform cleft palate surgery and burn repairs on children around the world.
