So far, it's been a whirlwind of big deals on classic watches, waterproof footwear, and men's basics, and while there are plenty of great picks to shop, the retailer has become a reliable source for one thing in particular: discounted Barbour jackets. In the last few days of the sale, Nordstrom has a best-on-the-internet deal on one of Barbour's handsome waterproof winter coats.
Barbour’s Waterproof Ashby Winter Jacket is on sale for $309, a 35% discount from its normal price of $475. Nordstrom still has lots of other Barbour jackets on sale, but this is one of the few with a full size range in stock. This jacket is available for $309 in one colorway, and Nordstrom even beats Barbour’s sale price of $333—in other words, you won’t find a better price anywhere else.

The Waterproof Ashby is made from a blend of polyester and cotton, and it’s fused with a polyurethane waterproof membrane to keep you dry in the rain. (Barbour also makes a different Ashby jacket in waxed cotton.)
Inside, this jacket is lined with a quilted polyamide (a.k.a. nylon) lining for a smooth feel. Corduroy trim at the collar adds a pop of color and feels comfy against the skin, and the removable hood keeps your head dry through passing rain showers.
