The former Bachelorette agreed to pay her now ex-husband a lump sum of $500,000 in spousal support when they finalized their divorce in 2025.

She said that Bryan was “ruthless” and “there was no compromising.”
Rachel shared that she “felt powerful” she was able to pay off the $500k alimony in one year.
“Like, ‘I paid you off, I’m still here, I’m still surviving,’” she said, after previously referring to herself as “free.”
The Texas native explained why she felt she had to rush and get married amid “societal pressures.”
“I wanted a prenup. I talked to him about a prenup. He did not want it,” she continued.
“It was kind of a perfect storm as to why I ended up moving forward with the marriage, even though I saw the issues,” Rachel added. “The narrative that I couldn’t be loved because I focused so much on career, all of that was in me.”
But her divorce has motivated her to speak out so other women can learn from her experience.
“I had to let go of the fear, the shame and the embarrassment of getting a divorce,” Rachel said.
