Michelle Obama Reveals Her 10 New Piercings & What Barack Obama Thinks of Them

Michelle Obama is sporting some new piercings!

The former first lady and her brother Craig Robinson spoke about her stylish new additions during the newest episode of their podcast IMO.

“What I’ve learned is that you tried to get your ears pierced and thought I didn’t notice. And I see you got all these new piercings in your ear,” Craig chimed in.

Michelle replied that she didn’t think he had noticed, and the pair bickered a little, with Craig referencing a “fight” they’d been having about whether or not he did actually notice her new piercings.

“I have always thought about getting some extra piercings in my ear and just never got around to it,” she said. “I had a second [piercing] hole that I had got before I had kids. But then I just got lazy and stopped putting an earring in it.”

Michelle added that many of the “young people” in her life are getting more piercings.

“There’s just more beautiful adornment,” she said. “You see more of a cluster, a constellation, with twinkles.”

Her brother then asked exactly how many she now has and the best-selling author said she got 10 in one sitting!

Michelle noted she was only “going in for a few,” but then kept telling her pierce “Oh, put one there and put one [there]. Oh yeah, let’s try one there.”

“So in one sitting, I’ve got 10 piercings,” she revealed, adding that they didn’t hurt much at all.

As for what her husband, former president Barack Obama thinks, Michelle said it “took him a couple of days” to notice them.

“He was like, ‘You haven’t had your hair up, you’ve had your hair down.’ And I was like, ‘I don’t know. I like sleep with you every night, dude, you know?’” she quipped.

Michelle previously revealed the one anti-aging thing she’ll never do.
