Richarlison has a verbal agreement with Tottenham to leave for a set price

Richarlison has long been linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur, and Spurs have apparently agreed on his summer price tag.

It was beginning to look like this would be the season Richarlison finally reached his potential for Tottenham Hotspur, as he surprisingly knocked Dominic Solanke out of the starting lineup.

The Brazilian striker quickly found some goalscoring form, and he was the only player in his position who was able to maintain a clean bill of health.

However, Richarlison suffered his first injury of the campaign last month, allowing Solanke to move back into the first-team and deliver some solid displays.

With the 28-year-old nearing the end of his current contract, this turn of events could mean his days at Tottenham are numbered.

Tottenham have already agreed a price to sell Richarlison

According to ESPN Brasil, Richarlison is one of Flamengo’s top transfer targets this summer. However, the player himself would prefer to stay abroad and is considering a potential move to either Turkey or Saudi Arabia.

With several Saudi Pro League clubs cutting spending due to tightened budgets, the Süper Lig looks a more likely destination for the forward.

Despite this, Richarlison reportedly has a verbal agreement with Spurs to leave the club for £21.8m and he would be willing to sit down with Flamengo if they meet that valuation.

The Brazilian club have £26m set aside for a new striker, so a return to his home country is not out of the question at this stage

Richarlison rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt

There have been reports in previous times which suggest Richarlison is pushing for a move away from Tottenham, only for him to refute those claims.

Therefore, any claims that he is looking for a summer move should be taken with a pinch of salt until some reliable Tottenham journalists confirm the news.

However, with Richarlison’s contract dropping to its final year in a few months’ time, this could be the summer where he departs Spurs.
