Purdue will add a former Ivy League Player of the Year to its roster next season.
Princeton transfer Caden Pierce is headed to Purdue, according to ESPN.
“When I was on campus, with the coaches and with the guys, it felt like a great place for me,” Pierce told ESPN. ” I wanted to be a part of that program.”
Pierce averaged 11.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game for Princeton last season.
The 6-foot-6 forward plans to continue to sit out the remainder of the season to finish his degree at Princeton before heading to Purdue to play for his final season.
