Michael B. Jordan Honored with Outstanding Performer Award at Santa Barbara Film Festival 2026!
Michael B. Jordan is being honored!
The 39-year-old Oscar-nominated actor held hands with mom Donna Jordan as he arrived at an event held during the 2026 Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Thursday (February 12) at the Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara, Calif.
During the event, Michael was presented with the Outstanding Performer of the Year Award for portraying twin brothers Smoke and Stack in Ryan Coogler‘s hit movie Sinners.

Jordan fan since his days on The Wire, and now he’s a bonafide box office star giving one of the year’s most intricate performances – make that two – in Sinners,” SBIFF’s Executive Director Roger Durling shared in a statement with Variety. “He does incredibly nuanced work creating two specific characters – the brothers Smoke and Stack – and when they interact with each other, it’s pure alchemy.”
Also stepping out to support Michael at the event were his siblings Jamila and Khalid along with his Sinners co-star Delroy Lindo.
