Bethenny Frankel Slams People Trying to Take Her Down Over Viral Bad Bunny Video
Bethenny Frankel is lashing out at anyone who is trying to tear her down because of a viral video that she posted and then deleted.
After Bad Bunny performed the Super Bowl Halftime Show this past weekend, the Real Housewives alum posted a video in which she questioned if celebrities should be allowed to make political or cultural statements at major entertainment shows.
“Should these entertainment vehicles — the Grammys, the Emmys, the Oscars, the Super Bowl — should this be the place for personal, cultural, political views to be expressed? Certainly there are major world events that take place, whether COVID or tragedies, 9/11, and it’s unavoidable that it’s discussed, but where is the line?” Bethenny questioned.
Bethenny didn’t just mention Bad Bunny in the video. She brought up several other celebrities who have shared personal views on major stages.
A source told Page Six that Bethenny actually “loved” Bad Bunny‘s show and was just trying to start a conversation, so she decided to take down the video. The clip has since gone viral and sparked some backlash for her.
Now, Bethenny is speaking out in response to that backlash.

“In the United States of America, we have never been more f–king divided, so why not try to talk to someone who says something wrong, who has a different opinion than you, who thinks like the uncle at your Thanksgiving dinner table that you can’t believe thinks that way?” Bethenny said in the clip. “Instead of telling him he’s a piece of s–t and putting him the ground, have a conversation, have a dialogue.”
Bethenny said that she doesn’t place herself on either side of the political spectrum.
“You’re either woke or MAGA. Is there nothing in between? ‘Cause I’m neither woke nor MAGA. You can f–king trust and believe,” she said.
Bethenny added, “What the f–k happened to us? Life is not a zero-sum game. We’re human beings! So if I say something that f–king bothers you, let me know in a constructive way so I can change. If you just wanna put me in the goddamn ground, wait for it, baby, ’cause I’m not f–king going anywhere.”
There are several celebs who have criticized Bad Bunny‘s Super Bowl Halftime Show, and on even got fired from a job because of it.
