How to watch Aston Villa v Newcastle United: kick-off time, TV channels and streams
Aston Villa turn their attentions back to the FA Cup late on Saturday afternoon.
Villa will face Premier League rivals Newcastle United in the FA Cup fourth round, welcoming the Magpies to Villa Park for the second time in the 2025-26 season.
Unai Emery might consider the FA Cup his third priority at the moment but he will be limited in terms of the changes he can make because of a relative lack of player availability. Newcastle boss Eddie Howe is in a very similar predicament so we could be in for a full-blooded affair.
What time does Villa v Newcastle kick off?
The 16 ties that make up the FA Cup fourth round are spread across the entire weekend, beginning with Hull City v Chelsea and Wrexham v Ipswich Town on Friday night and ending with giant-killing Macclesfield against Brentford on Monday.
Nine of the ties will be played on Saturday and Villa’s is the penultimate match of the day before Liverpool v Brighton & Hove Albion wrap up proceedings.
Villa v Newcastle is one of the top TV picks in the fourth round and will kick off at 5.45pm on Saturday 14th February.
Where to watch Villa v Newcastle in the UK
There are a multitude of options for fans to watch this fourth round tie, which will be available on both the BBC and TNT Sports on Saturday evening.
That means a late start for Gladiators this week, though. Sorry.
The game will be free to air on BBC ONE in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. It can be streamed for free on BBC Sport Online and BBC iPlayer.
If you’re a TNT Sports subscriber, you also have the choice of watching on TNT Sports 3 or streaming on the Discovery+ platform. Lynsey Hipgrave and former Villa defender Alan Hutton will be back at Villa Park after their midweek visit, joined this time by Les Ferdinand, commentator Sam Matterface – that’ll be BBC, then – and co-commentator Lucy Ward.
