Planned Parenthood Forced to Call 911 After Butchering Another Woman in Botched Abortion
A 911 call placed from the Planned Parenthood facility in Aurora has once again brought to light the dangerous realities behind the abortion industry’s carefully crafted image of “safe and routine” procedures — an image heavily protected by abortion defenders and politicians.
What happened?
On December 19, 2025, a caller from inside the facility requested an ambulance for a 26-year-old woman who was, in the caller’s own words, “just bleeding” from her uterus. The injury reportedly occurred “during a procedure” — industry jargon for a surgical abortion.

Planned Parenthood Aurora performs abortions up to 22 weeks of pregnancy, well into the second trimester where abortions are more complex and risky.
“The casual tone of the 911 call is deeply concerning. Again, Planned Parenthood staff tried to downplay the situation. ‘Just bleeding.’ What does that mean in a medical setting? How much blood loss does that include? Is this employee describing a severe hemorrhage as ‘just bleeding’? Clearly this young woman’s injuries were so dangerous abortionists determined she needed emergency transport,” says Troy Newman, Operation Rescue President.
Hemorrhage is one of the most serious complications of abortion. Excessive bleeding can occur for several reasons, including:
- Uterine atony, when the uterus fails to contract properly after the procedure;
- Cervical lacerations, cuts to the cervical tissue;
- Uterine perforation, punctures caused by surgical instruments;
- Retained tissue left inside the uterus; or, in some cases,
- Pre-existing clotting disorders that make bleeding harder to control.
Such complications sometimes require emergency surgery or blood transfusions to save the woman’s life. Even first-trimester risks can be serious, but the more a pregnancy progresses and the baby grows, the more risk of trauma to the uterus and cervix increases, due to the size of the unborn child and the complexity involved.
Was this young woman screened adequately for risk factors? Was an ultrasound performed beforehand to confirm gestational age and rule out common complications? How long was she bleeding before 911 was called? Was she stabilized before transport?
Newman adds: “Time and again, abortion facilities insist that serious complications are rare. Yet emergency responders continue to be called to clinics across the country with great frequency. Each ambulance arriving at the doors of an abortion center tells a story — a story of another mother’s life endangered. A story that is often hidden from public view.”
Abortion Destination
Illinois’ relaxed abortion policies championed by state lawmakers have made the state a destination for people looking for abortions across the Midwest. Illinois law does not impose many of the limits seen in other states and, in fact, does not even require abortion clinics to be inspected or licensed.“Qualified health professionals” are also permitted to perform abortions — in other words, anyone with a professional health background, not only licensed physicians.
In August 2025, Governor Pritzker signed into law House Bill 3637, which expanded Illinois’ “shield law” protections to abortionist providers. This law shields anyone who performs abortions from prosecution by other states or disciplinary action in Illinois for providing medical care that is legal in Illinois but may be illegal elsewhere. The same legislation also allows providers to prescribe medications formerly approved by the FDA (like mifepristone) if the World Health Organization still deems them effective.
Another bill signed by the governor that same month, House Bill 3709, requires public colleges and universities to offer contraception and abortion pills at on-campus health centers and pharmacies — further normalizing abortions as “safe and routine” healthcare.
With such radical pro-abortion laws, the number of women being injured in Illinois abortion businesses goes unabated. In fact, last year Operation Rescue investigated 22 separate emergencies in the state, nearly all involving a woman with severe hemorrhaging, a perforated uterus, or both. State officials have taken no action to address this rising number of injuries.
“Illinois continues to pass legislation that treats abortion — the killing of the unborn — as healthcare while leaving women to enter clinics at their own risk.There is a clear statewide effort to protect the abortion cartel in Illinois, not patients,” Newman says.
“Women deserve full disclosure about the risks involved, clear reporting when complications arise, and assurance that safety — not politics — is the highest priority.” Newman adds. “Until more information is made public about what happened on December 19, 2025, this woman’s injury will remain yet another unfortunate incident and unanswered question in a system that increasingly shields the abortion cartel.”
