How to prioritise reading Horse & Hound stories on Google
If you’re as frustrated as everyone else with being fed inaccurate AI-generated information when searching in Google, we have some good news for you. Google has introduced a new feature that allows you to choose to see more equestrian news stories from Horse & Hound in your Google top stories.
The new option is called “preferred sources” and as long as you have a Google account and are logged in, it’s very straight forward to set up – simply click to add Horse&Hound to your preferred sources. And it’s equally easy to turn off if you decide you don’t like it.
If you’d rather set this up step-by-step, start by going to Google’s homepage and do a search. For our example, we searched for “Equestrian news”.
Beside the “Top stories” label, there is an icon that looks like two overlapping cards with a star on top – as highlighted above with the red arrow.
Click on that icon and you’ll get a pop-up window open, that looks similar to the one below.
Type horseandhound.co.uk (or any other website name or URL) and it should appear in a list below.
Tick the box alongside Horse & Hound and then click the reload results button at the bottom.
That’s all you need to do. You’ll now see Horse & Hound’s stories added to your top stories options.
If you would like to see more stories from us, then click the “More from your sources” bar and Google will display more stories from Horse & Hound that fit your search.
If you want to change or removed your preferred sources, simply click on the cards icon with the star on it, then use the tick box to unselect the brands you no longer want to follow.
We hope you find this helpful and will enjoy reading more stories from your favourite trusted equestrian news service.
