Nicole Richie’s 18-Year-Old Daughter Kate Just Twinned With Her Mom in a Permanent Way
Nicole Richie’s mini-me daughter Kate is turning into her twin, and just did something rather permanent to show it.
In case you missed it, on Feb 9, Kate shared a snapshot of herself in a gold dress, showing off her new tattoo to Instagram with the caption reading, “????.”
For eagle-eyed fans, they instantly noticed Kate has a small angel wing tattoo by her spine just like her mom. It’s unclear why either got angel wing tattoos, or even when Richie herself got them done (but many suspect it was sometime in the late 2000s.) But even if we don’t know, we love that the mother-daughter duo is twinning!
For those who don’t know, Richie and her husband, Joel Madden, started dating in Dec 2006. They married in 2010; and welcomed two kids beforehand: a daughter named Harlow, who now identifies as Kate Madden, born on Jan 2008, and a son named Sparrow, born on Sept 2009.
While the pair often kept their two kids out of the spotlight, Richie did say in an interview with People that she’s grateful that moms are more comfortable discussing parenting. “I know my mom didn’t have that,” she said to the outlet. “Women are no longer ashamed to say, ‘Oh, this is so hard! I’m worried I’m not doing a good job.’ Women are supporting each other in that space, which I think is so awesome.”
