Kaley Cuoco & Husband Tom Pelphrey Sleep in Different Rooms: 'Best Decision We Ever Made'
Kaley Cuoco says she and her husband Tom Pelphrey made the best decision ever by choosing to sleep in separate rooms.
The 40-year-old Vanished star visited Dax Shepard‘s Armchair Expert podcast for the Monday (February 9) episode and opened up about how their new sleeping arrangement has made their lives much easier.
Kaley said it started because they have older dogs who can be a handful to deal with at night and eventually Tom “was like, ‘I can’t do this anymore,” and she understood.

“So he started sleeping in the guest room,” Kaley said, which they immediately found to be a “game changer.
The couple have very different sleep schedules, with Tom being a self-proclaimed night owl that is often night reading or writing.
“It’s his quiet time,” she shares.
“So he’s up late and wakes up late on a non-working day. We established this from day one. I go to bed early, and I wake up early. We’re totally on different sleeping schedules,” The Big Bang Theory alum explained.
She also admitted that one of the only things she felt hesitant about is what people might think, something she expressed during couples therapy.
“At first, I’m like, ‘What will people think?’ And he’s like, ‘I never see you at night,’” Kaley continued. “I don’t see him. It’s not our sexy time. We don’t cuddle. We don’t see each other at night. He goes, ‘Why do you care?’ And I sat there, and I went, ‘God, I don’t care.’ And he goes, ‘Let’s try it.’”
And ever since it’s been great.
“It just works for us,” she added.
