Team News: Hearts (A)
Hibernian Head Coach David Gray has named his Hibernian starting XI to face Hearts in tonight’s Edinburgh Derby at Tynecastle Park.
The Gaffer has made two changes to the team that picked up a 3-2 victory over Dundee United at Easter Road last Wednesday as we seek to secure a second consecutive derby win.
Raphael Sallinger remains in goal, with our number one’s goal defended by the same back three – as Munashe Garananga, Rocky Bushiri and Jack Iredale also keep their spots in the line-up.
Deadline Day arrival Felix Passlack starts once more in the right wing-back position, though an enforced change is made on the opposite flank as Nicky Cadden - who supplied the game-winning assist against United - replaces the injured Jordan Obita.
A second switch sees Kai Andrews introduced to the XI, with the Coventry City loanee making his first start for Hibs in the process. Elie Youan makes way for the midfielder and is named on the bench.
Dan Barlaser and Miguel Chaiwa accompany the youngster in the middle of the park, while Dane Scarlett and Martin Boyle, who captains the side, start up front.
Fresh off the back of his late Easter Road heroics last week, Ante Šuto is named on the bench alongside a number of additional attacking options; including Youan, Owen Elding, and Rudi Molotnikov.
Jamie McGrath and Josh Campbell, who both scored in our Edinburgh Derby victory in December, and centre-back Warren O’Hora all return to the matchday squad after recovering from injuries, while goalkeeper Jordan Smith and wing-back Kanayo Megwa round out the substitutes listed on the bench.
Obita, Joe Newell, Grant Hanley, Josh Mulligan and Chris Cadden all miss out.
