Kid Rock vs Ricky Martin Age Comparison Goes Viral After Super Bowl
Although the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show was on Sunday, February 8, viewers, news pundits, and celebs still can’t stop talking about Bad Bunny’s incredible 13-minute set. (Personally, I loved it.) However, the not-so-subtle elephant in the room from the moment Bad Bunny was announced as this year’s Halftime Show performer has been the number of people who weren’t thrilled to have him as the entertainment for the Big Game’s intermission.
Kid Rock, in particular, has been very vocal about not supporting the Bad Bunny show. So much so that he led the alternative Turning Point USA’s Halftime Show to compete. Well, now that the dust has settled, it turns out Bad Bunny raked in record-breaking viewership numbers for his show, while The Athletic noted Rock’s, “drew as many as 6.1 million concurrent viewers on its YouTube channel Sunday night.”
While it’s clear one performance won the ratings battle and the entertainment factor, the two shows are also being compared in another way, thanks to social media. It boils down to Kid Rock and Bad Bunny’s surprise guest, Ricky Martin.
Kid Rock and Ricky Martin Were Both Born in 1971
The year was 1971, and two children were born who would grow to be household names in the late 90s and early 2000s. Rock was born on January 17 of that year, and Martin was born on December 24 (if you follow zodiac signs, this means they’re both Capricorns). While Rock is already 55, Martin will be turning the same age later this year. Herein lies the shock value. A social media user realized all of this and pointed it out on X (formerly Twitter).
They were born the same year btw.... pic.twitter.com/u21A6wdH42

Social Media Weighs in on Kid Rock and Ricky Martin
Given all the contentious rhetoric surrounding Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show and Rock’s alternative performance, it should come as no surprise that users on X had plenty to say about Rock and Martin’s ages. Below you’ll find a few of the more “kind” comments.
I don't get it they both look the same age but one had work to look younger

I barely recognized Ricky Martin with all the plastic surgery he's had.
