There are still a few ways to get World Cup tickets without going through a reseller

If you missed out on being selected in the World Cup 2026 ticket lottery, don’t lose hope. There are still ways you can get seats without paying astronomical resale prices that can easily top $4,000 a piece for the upper bowl in coveted matches.  Here are some options:

— Starting in early April, FIFA will open the Last-Minute Sales Phase. This is the final public sales through FIFA, and tickets will be sold on a  “first-come, first served basis” in real-time. It is unclear, however, how many tickets will be available and at what price point.

— Partners such as VISA offer special sales such as the one held this week specifically for Chase Sapphire members. It’s worth it to check the Chase site for future sales. Also, Capital One has a World Cup ticket sales site.

— If you are seeking to purchase tickets with upgraded event services such as lounges, food and entertainment, you can look at ticket-inclusive hospitality packages.
