Tottenham vs Newcastle United confirmed Premier League team news as Djed Spence returns

Tottenham Hotspur have now confirmed their starting XI for this evening’s clash against Newcastle United in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur are still without a Premier League win in 2026 and will be desperate to turn their fortunes around tonight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when they take on Newcastle United.

It is a clash between two sides struggling for form, as Eddie Howe’s men are without a win in their last three league outings, while Spurs have managed just two wins in their last 16.

The two teams have met twice already this season, with Newcastle getting the upper hand at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Carabao Cup, while Spurs secured a hard-fought draw at St James’ Park in the Premier League thanks to a late Cristian Romero winner.

Spurs are now slowly getting dragged into a relegation scrap, even though Thomas Frank has failed to admit that.

Six points is currently the difference between Tottenham in 15th place and West Ham United in 18th place, making it crucial for Spurs to avoid any more dropped points.

Newcastle are not in the best of form and, if Frank’s side can start this game strongly, they stand a chance of securing all three points.
