Your Travel Wardrobe Just Got An Upgrade: Louis Vuitton “Trunk Edition” by Pharrell Williams
If you’ve boarded a plane, you’ve seen Louis Vuitton luggage. Monogrammed rollers, trunks, and carry-on duffels appear in airports across the globe, taking LV from coast to coast. In February 2026, however, Creative Director Pharrell Williams turns his focus to the contents of these stylish suitcases. Launching the Louis Vuitton Trunk Edition, a men’s collection for Fall-Winter 2026, Williams curates a wardrobe for transitional dressing. See the best offerings from the new collection below.
Named for Louis Vuitton’s debut creation, a canvas trunk from 1854, the Trunk Edition honours its heritage with an emphasis on functional, flexible fashion. To reinforce the link, each article of clothing includes a distinctive tag embossed with the Trunk Edition’s “ethos of endurance.” Subtle shades — beiges, blues, browns and black — paint apparel and accessories, composing a sophisticated palette.
Centred around the idea of transition, styles from the Trunk Edition span day and night. Relaxed cashmere hoodies and cotton-silk denim suits refine daywear without compromising on comfort. Meanwhile, cotton-silk double gabardine trousers and cashmere-silk twill striped shirts offer plenty of polish for more formal occasions.
Materials are lightweight and luxe. Think cashmere rib-knit cardigans, suits of silk-wool canvas, and Damier-patterned silk-cotton pique. Per Louis Vuitton’s statement, the new collection is all about versatility. Well-made and breathable, fabrics can be styled for upscale gatherings and casual hangs alike. A laid-back suit, for instance, includes a matching over-shirt and trousers; rendered in soft, double-face cotton-silk crêpe, the ensemble seamlessly shifts from country to city.
Elsewhere, understated looks bridge the gap between workday and weekend. Billed as “elevated off-duty staples,” relaxed offerings include a light trucker jacket, hooded blouson (spun from velvety nubuck), and knitted cashmere hoodie.
Aside from apparel, the Trunk Edition includes a collection of new LV Touch leather goods. Minimalist and utilitarian, four new calfskin bags span from edgy Steamer styles to the reversible “Verso Hobo.” To round out the offerings, the new Louis Vuitton line includes a Steamer Backpack and Delta Slingbag.
Finishing in the footwear aisle, Williams introduces three styles of shoes. Like the new apparel, footwear ranges from relaxed to refined. Ease comes courtesy of the slip-on sneaker and Horizon travel slipper, while the Croisette loafer provides a more elevated option.
With flexible styling and elegant fabrics, the Trunk Edition translates Louis Vuitton’s long heritage into the language of modern menswear. Building a wardrobe for day and night, Williams offers a slew of adaptable looks — and makes packing your bags that much easier.
