Abortionist Loves Doing Abortions: “I’m Good at” Killing Babies
Even the most cold-hearted of the pro-abortion crew might pause if somehow they are forced to read about (let alone watch) a second-trimester abortion. How could even the most desensitized human being not feel their stomachs move when witnessing a recognizable baby being torn apart?
No one knows the reality better than the abortionist him or herself. Former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino has testified before the House of Representatives and told the House Judiciary Committee that he had performed (what an odd word) nearly 1,200 abortions, both first and second trimesters.
As Dr. Levatino told the committee
The toughest part of a D&E abortion is extracting the baby’s head. The head of a baby that age is about the size of a large plum and is now free floating inside the uterine cavity. You can be pretty sure you have hold of it if the Sopher clamp is spread about as far as your fingers will allow. You will know you have it right when you crush down on the clamp and see white gelatinous material coming through the cervix. That was the baby’s brains. You can then extract the skull pieces. … If you have a really bad day like I often did, a little face may come out and stare back at you.

At the other end of the spectrum, we have abortionist Christine Henneberg. In an essay for New York Times, she wrote of how early on she “compartmentalized” her life. For example, when she thought she might be infertile, Dr. Henneberg told her husband
“It’s not just that I’m worried we can’t have kids,” I told him. “I’m worried about, you know, the reason.
What reason? he asked. Like some kind of bad karma: the abortion doctor who can’t get pregnant.
At the time, the fact that I would even consider such an idea — as though I deserved some type of punishment for the work I do — should have told me that my boundaries weren’t as neat and tidy as I thought.
But that was then, before she really got into abortions. After a while, she was comfortable performing them even while she was pregnant. “Dismembering babies, in Henneberg’s mind, is like art, music, athletics, or dance,” in Sarah Terzo’s words.
Henneberg is positively lyrical when she writes about the joy of ending unborn life. After she got the hang of it, she wrote “I’d found the thing I was good at, even gifted at.”
Imagine. Being positively joyful about being “good at, even gifted at” pulling out legs, yanking arms from torsos, and skillfully crushing skulls.
Her life’s calling.
Unlike Dr. Levatino, no bad days for Dr. Henneberg.
