Ranchi To Launch Mass Drug Administration for Filariasis Elimination Today
Ranchi's district health department launched a mass drug administration program on Tuesday to combat filariasis, targeting over 4.9 lakh people across 619 booths. The initiative, part of the National Lymphatic Filariasis Elimination Programme, will run until February 25, with health workers administering free preventive medication. Door-to-door distribution will ensure coverage for those unable to visit booths.
