The first round of cameos were included during Bad Bunny's performance of "VOY A LLeVARTE PA PR". Cardi B may not have performed alongside him, as many fans were expecting, but she did make a surprise appearance among his backup dancers.
Cardi B previously collaborated with Bad Bunny on his breakthrough single "I Like It", which marked his first #1 charting on the Billboard Hot 100. It remains his only song to accomplish this.
Other famous faces included Pedro Pascal, Jessica Alba, and Karol G, who were presumably included due to their South American heritage. Bad Bunny's set was an unabashed celebration of Latino culture, from the set production to the singer's decision to shout out mutliple South American countries during his set.

The Grammy-winning pop singer also comes from a family with immigrant heritage, adding to the performance's clear celebration of foreign culture and what it means to be American.
Puerto Rican pop star Ricky Martin also took the stage for a brief moment during Bad Bunny's set. He previously wrote an open letter to Bad Bunny after he won Album of the Year at the Grammy's last month, praising his fellow countryman for "staying true" to his Puerto Rican culture.
