Bad Bunny Sent 4-Word Message to America During Halftime Show
When Bad Bunny was announced as the halftime show performer at Super Bowl LX back in September, many wondered if he would use his set as a time to protest President Donald Trump and some of the policies of the United States government.
Instead, the Latin trap star, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, set a different kind of tone with his show, ending it with a crystal clear message to anyone watching in the United States.
'Together, We Are America'
Throughout his performance, Bad Bunny carried a football with him as he paid homage to Latin culture and brought out a star-studded cast of guest cameos, including Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Pedro Pascal, Karol G, Jessica Alba, Alix Earle and more.
At the end of the show, Bad Bunny held the football up to the camera, revealing a four-word phrase: "Together, We Are America."

Additionally, the video board at Levi's Stadium blared the message “The only thing more powerful than hate is love" as Bad Bunny paraded through the final segment of his concert, backed up by a supporting cast carrying the flags of America and dozens of South American and Caribbean countries.

Bad Bunny has not been shy about speaking out
A native of Puerto Rico, Bad Bunny has been an outspoken critic of President Trump and his immigration policy, even going as far as to refrain from holding concerts in the United States during his world tour due to fear of ICE presence.
“Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say ICE out,” Bad Bunny said after winning a Grammy last weekend. “We’re not savages, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens, we are humans and we are Americans.”
While some questioned the NFL's decision to choose the "DTMF" singer as its halftime headliner, commissioner Roger Goodell defended it during Super Bowl week, calling Bad Bunny "one of the great artists of the world" and saying that was "one of the reasons we chose him."
"“But the other reason is he understood the platform he was on,” Goodell added. “And that this platform is used to unite people, and to be able to bring people together with their creativity, with their talents, and to be able to use this moment to do that.
