The Seattle Seahawks finished the regular season at 14-3 and came out of the loaded NFC West. In the playoffs, Seattle defeated the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams as the No. 1 seed. The Seahawks, led by an elite defense and the resurgent Sam Darnold at quarterback, as well as offensive player of the year Jaxon Smith-Njigba, are looking for the franchise’s second Super Bowl title. Their first since 2013. This is the first time they have played in the big game since 2014.
Meanwhile, the New England Patriots have surprised everyone this season despite being the benefactor of an incredibly easy regular season schedule and path to the Super Bowl.
