Who Are Mike Macdonald's Wife & Son? Meet Stephanie, a Former NFL Cheerleader!
The Seattle Seahawks are competing in the 2026 Super Bowl today (February 8), and you’ll likely be seeing their head coach Mike Macdonald on the sidelines quite a lot throughout the game!
While facing off against the Patriots, you may be wondering about the 38-year-old coach’s personal life.
He’s married to a woman named Stephanie Macdonald, and she also has ties to the NFL: she was a cheerleader for three different teams!
She cheered professionally for the Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Commanders, and was even named the Pro Bowl cheerleader for the Ravens in 2014!
“The friendships from those teams are just so invaluable to me. Each team had such a special place in my heart,” she told the Seahawks in 2024.
“My wife Stephanie is an absolute rock star,” Mike added. “You’ll get to know her, and this city will fall in love with her.”
They actually met when he was the Defensive Coordinator for the Ravens and she was cheering for the team. She recalled on The Purple Chair Podcast that when she found out he was a coach, she told him they could not date. After she left the Ravens, they started dating in 2016.
The pair got married back in 2021, and welcomed a son named Jack in 2024.
They also have a pup named Bruce, who you can see in her past tweet below!
