Green Day Has Message for ICE Agents, Changes 2 Lyrics to Reflect Current State of American Politics
Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong is calling out ICE and changing some lyrics to indicate the state of the world today.

While performing at an event over the weekend, he had a message to ICE Agents.

He said on stage, “To all the ICE agents out there, wherever you are…quit your sh-tty-ass job. Quit that shitty job you have. Because when this is over — and it will be over at some point in time — Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller, JD Vance, Donald Trump, they’re gonna drop you like a bad f-cking habit. Come on this side of the line.”
While singing “Holiday,” they changed the lyric “the representative from California has the floor” to “the representative from Epstein Island has the floor.”
And, another important lyric change is in “American Idiot.” He now sings “I’m not part of the MAGA agenda,” which used to be “I’m not part of a redneck agenda.”
