Dense fog advisory issued for North Bay Interior Valleys until Sunday morning – quarter mile visibility

The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory at 3:37 a.m. on Sunday in effect until 9 a.m. for North Bay Interior Valleys.

The NWS San Francisco CA states to anticipate, “Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.”

“Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,” the NWS said. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Patchy dense fog will result in sudden changes in visibility. Visibility at times will fall below one-quarter of a mile. Use your low beam headlights, slow down, and be prepared for periods of hazardous driving conditions.”
