Explaining Every Beef Mentioned in 50 Cent's Super Bowl 2026 Commercial: What Does Each Item Mean?

50 Cent‘s 2026 Super Bowl commercial is going viral for its nods to the rapper’s many long-standing feuds with other rappers.

He stars in a new Door Dash commercial framed around his reputation for trolling, even joking that he’s been called the “King of Trolls.” Throughout the short ad, 50 pulls out various items from a Door Dash bag, including an alarm clock, some combs, a bag of cheese puffs, and more.

For those who are unfamiliar with 50‘s pop culture history, the references are easy to miss.

What does each item in the bag mean? We’re explaining the context behind 50‘s commercial.

Keep reading to find out more…

Floyd Mayweather

The first thing the “Candy Shop” rapper pulls out of the bag is a book that says “Learning Your ABC,” which is likely a jab at Floyd Mayweather. 50 Cent has repeatedly mocked him for allegedly not being able to read, once challenging him to read one page of a Harry Potter book in exchange for a $750,000 donation to his charity of choice.

Floyd and 50 were once close friends, but they had a financial/business-related fallout in 2012 that led to their longstanding feud.

Ja Rule

At one point, 50 pulls out a classic alarm clock and says, “I’m always on time,” which is almost definitely a nod to Ja Rule‘s song “Always on Time.” It might also be a reference to the fact he spent two years in prison from 2011 to 2013 for a weapon charge and tax evasion.

50‘s feud with Ja Rule is one of his longest, spanning all the way back to 1999.

Sean “Diddy” Combs

The cheese puffs, the bottle of cognac, and the combs are all seemingly nods to his feud with Sean “Diddy” Combs, also known as Puff Daddy.

The combs and cheese puffs are pretty on-the-nose references to the incarcerated rapper’s name, but when he pulls out the cognac, 50 says it has been aged “4 years, or 50 months, who’s keeping count?” which is a direct reference to Diddy‘s prison sentence of 4 years (or 50 months). He’s serving time for two interstate prostitution charges.

Their feud allegedly started back in 2006 when 50 accused Diddy of being involved with Biggie‘s murder and he’s been trolling him basically non-stop ever since, says People. He also executive produced the Netflix docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which examines the allegations of sexual misconduct.

Find out what Donald Trump said about potentially granting Diddy a pardon.
