Spiritual Wellness Author, Deepak Chopra Says Insane Things In His Emails To Jeffrey Epstein
Deepak Chopra is a bestselling spiritual author and wellness guru who has written 95 books on meditation, consciousness, and enlightenment, building a wellness empire worth hundreds of millions by positioning himself as a bridge between Eastern wisdom and modern seekers. He has spent decades teaching millions how to transcend the material world and connect with the divine.
But newly released documents from the U.S. Department of Justice, spanning over 3 million pages from Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal cases, paint a starkly different picture. The correspondence shows Chopra maintained regular and familiar contact with the convicted sex offender from at least 2016 through 2019, well after Epstein’s 2008 conviction.
The emails reveal Chopra turning to Epstein for financial guidance, socializing with him late into the night, and in one particularly jarring message writing “God is a construct. Cute girls are real.” In another exchange, he urged Epstein to join him in on a trip, telling him to “bring your girls” and suggesting he travel under a fake name.
Perhaps most revealing is a 2018 exchange that suggests Chopra was not merely in contact with Epstein but actively tracking his legal exposure. Chopra wrote: “Did she also drop the civil case against you?” Epstein replied: “YuP.” Chopra’s response was a single word: “Good.”
Following the release of the documents, Chopra issued a statement on X, pinning it to the top of his account. It read:
“I am deeply saddened by the suffering of the victims in this case, and I unequivocally condemn abuse and exploitation in all forms. I want to be clear: I was never involved in, nor did I participate in, any criminal or exploitative conduct. Any contact I had was limited and unrelated to abusive activity. Some past email exchanges have surfaced that reflect poor judgment in tone. I regret that and understand how they read today, given what was publicly known at the time. My focus remains on supporting accountability, prevention, and efforts that protect and support survivors.”
