Todd Snyder is synonymous with effortless cool. His namesake brand’s menswear designs are suave, sophisticated and easy to live in. So, it’s no surprise that his latest collaboration with AERA Instruments is a snazzy yet utilitarian pair of dive watches—the D-1 Blackout and D-1 Whiteout.
The duo are a partial homage to one of Snyder’s own adventures. “The Diver’s color palette was inspired by an off-road expedition through Icelandic landscapes,” says Snyder. "'Blackout' captures the depth of obsidian volcanic sands, while 'Whiteout' reflects the stark, clean profile of glacial waters.”

Both 44mm watches are crafted in grade 2 titanium and finished in either black or grey DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon). Each piece features an orange accented, unidirectional 60-minute dive bezel with a ceramic insert and is water resistant to 300 meters. Both the black and white variants feature a single-piece dished dial with applied indexes capped with an anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal. Super-LumiNova on the markers, numbers and hands glows green for low-light visibility.
The time-only watches are powered by Sellita SW200-1 Elabore grade automatic movements with roughly 40 hours of power reserve. The calibre is guarded by an Incabloc shock protection system and features hacking seconds. So you can easily set them to a reference time.

Both pieces come on rubber straps with quick-release closures. Limited to just 25 watches in Blackout and 25 in Whiteout, each is engraved with both the Todd Snyder and AERA logos and individually numbered.
The AERA x Todd Snyder D-1 Divers retail for $2,898 and will officially launch on February 10th, 2026, at 10 a.m. ET, exclusively online at toddsnyder.com and aera.co. Due to the limited nature of the release, a digital sign-up is live now on each site for interested customers to receive an alert when the pieces go on sale
