Stagecoach 2026: The new Mustang Stage debuts with star-studded lineup
Stagecoach has unveiled the lineup for its brand-new Mustang Stage, presented by Boot Barn, adding another major attraction to the 2026 edition of the country music gathering set for April 24-26 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
The new performance space will be located near the Mane entrance, across from the festival’s Ferris wheel, and is designed to provide additional space for fans while hosting late-night sets and genre-crossing performances.
The Mustang Stage lineup blends country, rock and hip-hop acts across the weekend. Friday’s bill will feature Southern country rock group Red Clay Strays, Counting Crows and rapper BigXthaPlug. Saturday shifts toward arena rock with Journey, Bush and Texas-based band Treaty Oak Revival, while Sunday will close out with performances from Hootie & The Blowfish, Third Eye Blind and The Wallflowers. Festival organizers say the stage will become the new home for Stagecoach’s Late Night programming, previously held at the Palomino Stage.
Late-night sets scheduled for the new space include DJ Diplo on Friday, Pitbull on Saturday and Ludacris on Sunday, continuing Stagecoach’s recent push to mix country roots with pop, hip-hop and dance influences after dark. The addition reflects the festival’s evolving identity, which has increasingly incorporated crossover artists while still maintaining its core country audience.
The announcement follows the recent reveal of the Palomino Stage lineup, which will return with performances from Sam Barber, Wyatt Flores, Gavin Adcock, Wynonna Judd, Lyle Lovett, Marcus King Band, Larkin Poe and Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters, among others.
Stagecoach, one of the largest country music festivals in the United States, will once again take over Indio’s Empire Polo Club — the same grounds as its sister festival, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival — with passes currently on sale. Organizers shared in a press release that the addition of the Mustang Stage aims to expand the festival’s nighttime energy and provide a new destination for fans looking to keep the party going beyond the main headlining sets.
