Indirect US–Iran talks open in Oman amid tensions
Washington and Tehran have resumed indirect talks in Oman for the first time since June, with discussions mediated by Omani officials. The agenda has not been made public, though Iran’s nuclear programme is expected to feature, alongside US concerns over Iran’s domestic crackdown.
