Pluto TV Quietly Adds 2 New Channels for Customers

Paramount-owned Pluto TV is launching two new channels for customers just over a month after adding a dedicated channel for science fiction smash hit The X Files.

Paramount gave the following description of the streaming platform: “Pluto TV is a global leader in free streaming television, offering a diverse lineup of channels through partnerships with more than 400 international media companies. Its extensive programming features movies, television series, sports, news, lifestyle, kids’ content, and much more, across a wide range of genres and languages.”

Pluto TV added two new channels focused on love - just in time for Valentine's Day: Pluto TV Love Stories and World of Love Island.

"Pluto TV Love Stories focuses on a collection of romantic series and films that span various eras and styles. Viewers can expect a mix of classic love sagas, modern rom-coms, and emotional dramas that highlight themes of courtship, heartbreak, and redemption," CordCutters News wrote.

"Complementing this is World of Love Island, a channel devoted to the global phenomenon of the Love Island franchise. It features episodes from various international versions of the show, showcasing contestants as they form alliances, face temptations, and pursue romantic interests in isolated paradise settings."

Pluto TV Keeps Adding New Channels

The move comes after Pluto TV also announced two new channels late last month: SWAT, which was canceled in 2025 and Boruto.

“It’s heartbreaking news, primarily because it’s been such an immense pleasure working with this cast and crew to put out a show that we’ve always been proud of,” showrunner and executive producer Andrew Dettmann of SWAT said in a statement after the show's cancellation. “They are truly an extraordinary group of people who have all worked so hard and have been so dedicated for all these eight seasons, overcoming countless challenges. I can’t give them enough credit.”

SWAT focuses on Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson, a Los Angeles S.W.A.T. lieutenant, assigned to lead a highly skilled unit in the community where he grew up.

Boruto, a manga series, focuses on Boruto Uzumaki, son of Seventh Hokage Naruto Uzumaki, has enrolled in the Ninja Academy to learn the ways of the ninja.
