Game-Changing £67,500 boost from Barnwood Trust for Cheltenham Tigers Wheelchair Rugby

 

Cheltenham Tigers Wheelchair Rugby is thrilled to announce a £67,500 funding award from Barnwood Trust, delivered over the next three years — a major milestone in the club’s rapid rise.

This transformational investment comes just two and a half years after the club was formed and represents a huge vote of confidence in the impact Cheltenham Tigers Wheelchair Rugby is already making. The funding will play a vital role in strengthening the club’s future, expanding opportunities for disabled people to access the sport, and ensuring wheelchair rugby continues to thrive in Gloucestershire.

What makes this support particularly special is Barnwood Trust’s commitment to helping the club beyond funding alone. Alongside financial investment, the Trust is keen to provide advice, guidance, and connections that will support long-term development and sustainability.
