Pierson Fode Confirms He's On Bumble, Talks About Recent Date He Went On

Pierson Fode has confirmed that he is single and he’s putting himself back out there with help from Bumble.

The 34-year-old actor was seen in the recent Netflix rom-coms The Wrong Paris and A Merry Little Ex-Mas.

Pierson took to his TikTok account to open up about using Bumble to start dating again. He did note that he partnered with the dating app for the post.

“So, talking about dating on social media wasn’t exactly on my vision board this year, but Bumble has honestly been a big part of why dating is actually feeling good for me again, which I didn’t see coming,” he began in the two-minute clip.

“Now one date that really stuck out for me was super low-key. We cooked some incredible ribeye steaks after a long day. I just wrapped filming, she just finished work, and it was nothing fancy. There was no pressure. It was just good food and a fantastic conversation and about 10 minutes in, I remember thinking to myself, ‘This is easy.’ There wasn’t that awkward, ‘So what do you do?’ phase. We already knew how much passion we have for our careers and has strong opinions about adventures that we have yet to seek out in life,” Pierson said.

“Bumble had already done the homework for us and real life was just a group project that we got to do together,” he continued. “And there was another date that felt completely different in the best way possible. We went on a VR experience and saved the world from zombies and had a blast, pun intended. And ended up with so much to talk about after that we couldn’t stop. We nerded out over cinema recommendations and even added a few new anime series to each other’s must-watch lists. And I remember walking away thinking, ‘Yeah, this is what intentional dating feels like.’”

“What I’ve learned is, when I’m honest about who I am, my interest, my quirks, the things I genuinely get excited about, the dates feel lighter. They’re so much more fun, they’re so much more human, less like an audition where everybody’s pretending that they love something,” Pierson concluded. “Bumble feels right for me at this stage. I’m genuinely enjoying dating again, which feels like a small miracle especially if you know me. If you’ve been on the fence about getting back out there, I’d say that it’s worth it, especially when it feels this real.”
