Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift's Status for Appearing at NFL Honors
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift aren't expected to be at the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 8, but before then, there's the NFL Honors. The ceremony takes place on Thursday, February 5, and there's been hype that both Kelce and Swift may be there.
Kelce is nominated for a prestigious award at the event in the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. Ahead of the event in San Francisco, a video clip of tables being set up for the event got people talking online and believing that Swift and Kelce may be there together.

Kelce is set to be a table with his brother, Jason Kelce, at the event, and in the video clip circulating, two seats are open next to them. Jason is expected to attend with his wife Kylie Kelce, but what about Travis? Online, fans have been projecting that Swift will be Travis' date at the NFL Honors.
The NFL Honors start at 9 p.m. ET from the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. They air live on NBC. As of 9:30 p.m. ET, although Kelce has made an appearance at the event, both on the red carpet and in the audience, there have been no reports of Swift attending.
If Swift decides not to attend, it's likely for security reasons. Swift was not publicly shown at the majority of Kansas City Chiefs games during the 2025-26 season due to security concerns.
If Swift and Kelce do surface together at the ceremony, this would be their first major appearance together since Kelce's last football game with the Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas.
Travis Kelce is Nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award
The Walter Payton Man of the Year Award is prestigious, so it would make sense that Swift would want to be there to see Kelce honored, whether he wins or not.
"The Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award presented by Nationwide recognizes an NFL player for his excellence on and off the field," the award's official website states. "The award was established in 1970 and was renamed in 1999 after the late Hall of Fame running back, Walter Payton."
The winner of the award each year gets up to a $250,000 donation to the charity of his choice. Plus, all 32 club winners receive up to a $40,000 donation to their charity of choice. All donations come courtesy of the NFL Foundation and Nationwide Foundation.
Meanwhile, Kelce still has a retirement decision to make. Kelce had a strong season in 2025-26, according to NFL research, with 76 receptions for 851 yards. Even though it wasn't his peak performance, those are still solid numbers.
