Sports Illustrated’s Ultra-Revealing NFL WAG Swimsuit Photos Take Over the Internet Days Before Super Bowl
In the days leading up to the Super Bowl, fans are trying to figure out how to watch the big game and the iconic ads. At the same time, lots of observers are paying attention to the players' wives and girlfriends (WAGs).
For example, the custom jacket that Ann Michael Maye wore to the AFC Championship, which paid tribute to her husband, Drake Maye, drew a lot of attention. Still, the recently released Sports Illustrated Swimsuit photos of several NFL WAGs whose partners didn't reach the Super Bowl are what truly took over the internet.

Within hours of Sports Illustrated releasing the NFL WAGs swimsuit photos, they were everywhere on social media, as the following posts on X show. One example of that was a post from the user @cloudighodaro who described the images as being so popular that they'd gone "nuclear." "The WAG takeover is real SI Swimsuit February 2026 digital cover just went nuclear — Brittany Mahomes leading the black swimsuit squad with Normani, Claire Kittle, Christen Goff, Ronika Love & Haley Cavinder."
All of the women involved in the shoot were praised by the user @yourspran. But they especially celebrated Ronika Love, calling her "iconic" for posing while pregnant. "SI really gathered the Avengers of the NFL sideline! ???????? Normani and DK Metcalf being engaged is the power couple we needed for 2026. Ronika Love doing this while pregnant is iconic behavior, and Haley Cavinder in the cowboy hat is absolute cinema. The WAG era is officially undefeated ????????✨"
The user @IamTheNewMeta reacted to Brittany Mahomes' cover photo by complimenting her and the courage and strength it takes to pose for a SI Swimsuit photo. "Brittany Mahomes is an attractive woman. It takes courage and power to put yourself out there for the whole world to see. Respect."
These are just three examples of the flood of social media reactions to the stunning Sports Illustrated photos of the famous group of NFL WAGs.
