Our favorite Silk & Snow products

Silk & Snow Wooden Bed Frame

We love this affordable, easy-to-assemble bed frame. Silk and Snow offers several stunning bed frames that emphasize easy assembly, sustainable materials, and affordability, making it a go-to for us among the best bed frames. The Wooden Bed Frame comes in five different configurations in rubberwood or acacia. The most basic option is the platform bed sans headboard, though there are several headboards to choose from including a cushion, a wooden upholstered, solid wood, or rattan headboard. We tested the bed with a boucle upholstered back. It's soft and inviting with round edges.

The wooden bed frame is easy to assemble and comes together with Japanese joinery and no tools. There are several headboard options to choose from, like this upholstered boucle.

It's a perfect dupe of Thuma's bed frame. It's visually similar to the Thuma Classic Bed, which popularized beds with easy tool-free assembly, but at a fraction of the cost. We compared the two head-to-head and found they're both excellent quality, with the Silk & Snow frame edging Thuma out in terms of value.

It's so easy to put together. Our tester was impressed with the bed's ease of assembly. The frame employs the use of Japanese joinery, meaning the pieces slot into place without screws, making assembly quick, easy, and tool-free. It came apart easily when our tester was moving, too. She appreciated its sturdy feel and classic, warm look in her bedroom.

Silk & Snow Down Alternative Comforter

This is one of our favorite budget comforters — especially for hot sleepers. Thanks to its combination of value and comfort, Silk & Snow's Down Alternative Comforter is one of the best comforters we've tested. It's available in three warmth options, including lightweight, all-season, and winter. We rated the lightweight density as one of the best options for hot sleepers in our guide to the best cooling comforters, thanks to its breathable, airy feel.

The fill is hypoallergenic and stays in place. The microfiber fill feels soft and fluffy, just like real down, but without the allergy risks. It's encased in a cotton shell in a baffle-box construction, so filling stays even throughout the blanket and doesn't require frequent refluffing.

The comforter's shell and fill are both breathable, so it's the ideal comforter for hot sleepers.

It's airy and breathable. Silk & Snow's comforter stands out because it's ridiculously breathable — perfect for hot sleepers. The cotton shell itself doesn't trap heat, while air can easily move throughout the microfiber fill inside the comforter. If you're looking for more fluff and less breathability, it's sold in an all-season and winter weight, too, if you require something warmer.

Silk & Snow Knitted Weighted Blanket

The knit design is equal parts stylish and comfortable. The Silk & Snow Hand Knitted Weighted Blanket skips the heavy glass beads found in many of the best weighted blankets. Instead, it gets its weight from a heavyweight cotton yarn. The weight stays evenly distributed and doubles as decor when tossed on your bed or couch.

We love the breathable design of this weighted blanket. The loops and open weave let air move through, so we didn't have to worry about overheating. It's comfortable, too, with a gentle pressure and a soft, jersey-like fabric.

Silk & Snow's Knitted Weighted Blanket is more affordable than the Bearaby Cotton Napper, plus it has a generous trial period and warranty.

It's a more affordable version of Bearaby's weighted blanket. It comes in weights from eight to 25 pounds and eight neutral colors. It's similar to the Bearaby Cotton Napper, but slightly more affordable with a more relaxed weave. Read our full Bearaby vs Silk & Snow weighted blanket comparison.

Silk & Snow Hybrid Plush Mattress

This is one of the best affordable mattresses you can find. We've tested over a hundred beds on our hunt for the best mattress, and we think Silk & Snow's Hybrid Mattress is one of the best you can buy for $1,000. It's one of a few brands that offer various firmness levels at this price point, with firm, medium-firm, and plush variations. However, the softer you go, the more expensive the mattress gets.

The plush is ideal for side sleepers, and stomach and back sleepers should opt for medium-firm. Our reviewer tried the plush and recommended it for those who sleep hot or on their side. Back and stomach sleepers should try the medium-firm density since the plush sinks in significantly, risking misaligning their spine.

The Silk & Snow Hybrid is best for side sleepers who overheat at night.

It stays cool all night. The Silk & Snow Hybrid is crafted with layers of memory foam and zoned-support coils (meaning there's more support on pressure points like your back). Some layers of memory foam are infused with cooling gel, which gives the mattress its cozy, cool properties. The construction overall helps the mattress stay cool. It also impressed us with its motion isolation and decent edge support.

We're looking forward to trying the brand's other mattresses. The mattress is made in Canada and backed by a yearlong sleep trial and 15-year warranty. Silk & Snow also offers an all-foam mattress and an organic latex hybrid, but we haven't tried those yet.
