Opening date of PureGym at Prospect Place Retail Park in Dartford revealed
An opening date for Kent’s latest PureGym branch has been revealed.
The fitness chain will be opening a site at Prospect Place Retail Park in Dartford next month.
Last October, plans were validated for external alterations to the front and back of the building, as well as for the installation of an air conditioning plant.
The gym will be opening on March 17 at the unit previously occupied by Tapi Carpets and Floors, which had been at the retail park since 2018 and has since relocated. Previously, it was a Next Home store.
A PureGym spokesperson said: "We are thrilled to be expanding the presence of the UK’s favourite gym in Kent.
“The new facility will provide a high-quality fitness offering for residents of Dartford and surrounding communities, while also providing around twelve new jobs in the growing health and fitness sector.
“As more people recognise the significant physical and mental health benefits of regular exercise, we remain committed to providing first-class fitness facilities at affordable prices to as many people across the UK as possible.
"PureGym Dartford will be open 24/7, allowing members to work out at a time that best suits their schedules and supports their overall wellbeing.
“Members of nearby gyms in Kent will be able to upgrade to a plus membership to gain access to the new gym, or alternatively transfer to a core membership at PureGym Dartford."
The closest PureGym branches are currently in Crayford and Erith.
