The Washington Post lays off hundreds of journalists and staff
The Washington Post, which is owned by Amazon founder and billionaire Jeff Bezos, has announced it is laying off hundreds of journalists and staff.
The Post announced reductions across the newsroom, scrapping the sports and books sections, and major cuts to the international, metro and podcast desks.
