Summery little bumps
Hello Friends,
Mad whirl around RealSurf HQ, so missed report yesterday (broke my string, boo) and wandering in at leisurely hour today. It looks as though the early was delivering the odd knee to waist-high sets along the beach north from the club. The wind is puffing up now from the NNW as it prepares to settle around to the summer-standard 15-20 kt NE’r later. The 1.3 metre wind swell was coming from the ESE at 9 seconds apart as of 0700. Tide was filling in to the 1.75 m high at 1135. Water is 23 C and the forecast is for a high of 31 C – with extreme UV
Looking ahead, I’m not seeing any obvious big changes on the horizon for us. I hope the Mighty Goat’s of a mind to offer us a few thoughts later today on our prospects…
Go well with your Thursday one and all!
Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea will maintain a ridge over the north coast into the weekend, bringing northeasterly winds. Meanwhile, a trough with a southerly change will move along southern and central parts of the coast today before becoming stationary over the south coast from Friday. The trough looks set to decay during Sunday.
